During this first half of this quarter, I have finished one project and started another one. One the one I completed is on the left. My unfinished work is on the right.
I tried to work the message of everyone is equal. That we are all just bones in the end. The text says "Tell me if this skull belongs to someone who is gay or straight, male or female, transgender or cisgender, Christian or Atheist, black or white". The point: you can't. Everyone is human. What I did on this work is draw with a pencil and a blending stump to create a realistic looking skull. Then I took black watercolour and splatted it/dabbed it on my paper. Finally, I made the text on the computer, then printed it out and glued it on the watercolour. | I am working on a fanart for a band called Twenty One Pilots (abbreviated tøp). What I did was paint my hand with black paint and make a hand print on this translucent plastic sheet. Then what I'm going to do is draw the cover of their latest album, "Blurryface", on the other side with permanent marker, and maybe put song lyrics on the front. |
